"My quilts are a testimony of my personal journey and a metaphor for my life. I have encountered a colorful nomadic journey from varied life experiences and the wisdom is combined in my work.

My work reflects my love of God’s creations, my spiritual being, a rich cultural heritage and my need to make a statement about it all. I am guided by moral convictions and over the years, my life has been healed because of my creative and spiritual journey through my art. It is important to acknowledge the spirit in everything. When designing my pieces, I am willing to walk by faith, not by sight. I am an instrument and my work is my ministry. My most successful designs come from a deep spiritual place within me that conveys harmony and peace. I am motivated by topics that promote positive uplifting thoughts, provide a moral compass, and comforting the soul.
My inspiration comes from lots of color, ethnic textiles and a combination of many techniques such as patchwork, embroidery, appliqué, painting, quilting and beading. The finest attention is given to workmanship details. My aspiration is for my art quilts to transform you to a place of peace and tranquility.
My work is currently published in Spirits of the Cloth by Carolyn Mazloomi, Exploring Machine Trapunto by Hari Walner and Threads of Faith by Carolyn Mazloomi and Patricia Pongracz. My art quilts are exhibited at numerous galleries and quilts shows throughout the country.
