Artist Statement
The intent of my work is to find compatibility in things that contradict one another,
Using industrial textiles, recycled materials, and metals, in combination with a variety of painting, dyeing, and assemblage techniques, I can generate work that combines ‘torn and tattered’ with ‘soft and flowing’ in order to discover their inherent compatibility.
