"Ants opening a peony bud, light reflecting off of grasses as they wave in the breeze, the silhouette of tree branches against a dark sky fascinate and excite me. I cannot improve upon the beauty of nature, but I find it a stimulating challenge to capture small bits of it using cloth and paint as my medium."
