"As a retired Graphic Artist who has always loved to sew and create, I started quilting 10 years ago. I found the world of fiber arts from inspiration of a group of traditional quilters. I knew I didn’t want to spend time piecing hundreds of shapes and make them match, so I developed a collage technique that has become my preference for art quilting. I do many of my collage works on original garments using techniques of painting, fusing, appliqué, and fabric printing."
