"I come from a long line of quilters and have quilts from both my grandmothers and mother.  As a child, I started sewing doll clothes and doing embroidery.  In the early 70’s, I started making quilts occasionally while in college.  Even as a beginner, I would design my own quilts.   I took my first quilt classes in about 1996 and have been hooked ever since.  Art Quilts took over my life about 2004.   I love the creativity and originality of the Art Quilt."
